Crispin T. South
Crispin T. South is an attorney and a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He currently serves as an assistant prosecutor for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University after receiving a B.A. in International Security Studies from the University of Oklahoma. At ASU, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona State Law Journal for the 2025–26 academic year, the first Native American to hold that position, and as President of the school’s Native American Law Students Association chapter for 2024–25. He also pursues scholarly research focused on legal philosophy, federal Indian law, constitutional law, and criminal law, and has helped Tribal Nations by consulting on amendments to tribal statutes and constitutions.
